The garden is moving right along. It’s been such a good year for it.

Here’s a shot of the whole thing. The raised beds are doing awesome.

Here is my third child posing with a Yellow Naga Brain – I used one of these in a hamburger tonight. It was great, but very hot!

Here’s my oldest in front of one of the raised beds, just for perspective on how tall the plants are this year.

The FDA Scotch Bonnet Red (Trident Chili) have such a wonderful shape. The plant that I pulled these from is doing great. I wonder sometimes why it is that some particular plants just really put out the pods. This one, for instance, is a great producer. It may be a combination of plant and that particular spot in the garden, I don’t know…

Here’s my second, posing with the sunflowers she helped me plant.

Finally, the chickens are doing well. We combined them all into the one run last week and they haven’t killed each other yet. You can see we’ve got it set up so the door to the coop doubles as a door to the pen. When it’s nighttime and they go in to roost, we just shut the door. It’s kept predators out just fine, so I think this set up will work.

Alright, that’s what I’ve got for now, thanks for stopping by!
