This week is Transfiguration Sunday, and in worship we remember and contemplate the Transfiguration of Jesus upon the mountain. The sermon comes from 2 Peter 1:16-21. The interesting thing is that Peter references the Transfiguration when affirming the truth of what they had seen. It was Peter’s experience with Jesus that drove him in his witness. So, how have we encountered Jesus?
