Renewing Spirits

Well, another busy week has flown by and I haven’t been able to get back to the Leviticus question. I will – I have one post left on that, but it’s been one of those weeks.

I wanted to get this post up a couple of days ago.  On Tuesday our church hosted Cal Meuzelaar and his wife Mary in our parking lot.  They were in their pop up camper, so if you saw that and wondered what was going on, don’t worry, we put them through an exhaustive screening process before they parked there.  Cal is currently riding across the United States on his bike and his story is a fascinating one.  You can follow it here on his blog.

Cal, Mary, and I had a nice chat on Tuesday evening after he pulled in to town.  I think the most compelling part of his story is that the cross country bike ride is a dream he’s had since childhood.  It’s so cool to see someone step out and do something so big.  You should also know that due to a serious wipeout, Cal had to spend 6 weeks healing up before picking up again where he left off!  Check out his blog.  It’s a cool story and I really enjoyed visiting with Cal and his wife for just a few moments.

Finally, there is a blog that I love to read called, “Letters from Kamp Krusty.”  He has one of his funniest posts yet, so I thought I’d like that as well.  Good stuff.  Happy Friday.

Oh, and thanks to all of you who have been commenting on the podcasts.  I really appreciate it.  I’m continuing to do some things to tweak it in regards to the itunes store and measuring my subscriptions, but hopefully that won’t mess anyone up.
